Kick-Ass definitely deserves some recognition. I like your taste and I think that the movies you picked are a mix of awesome classics and modern marvels. Most of these are some of my favorite movies. LOTR are my faves. Then comes Kick-Ass. IDK why I like this movie so much. Maybe it's because I can relate to the characters more than in any other movie. The colors in that movie are great and Hit-Girl is BEAST !!! I see you like anime. I'm not to big into anime, but I will definitely see those movies you recommended. I do like DBZ. A LOT !!! IMO it was the best attempt at animation of it's time and was way beyond anything we had in America. I see that still remains true when I look at that scene from Ghost in the Shell. If I have not seen any of these yet I definitely will !!! Thanks a lot !!!

One you might consider for the awesome cinematography is Resident Evil - Afterlife.
Forget the gore factor and pay attention to the visuals. Someone deserves a reward for this.
