Here it is, might as well get it out of the way early. This is by many people’s regard, the best projector you can buy for a home theater. And it shows. This is Sony’s BRAVIA VPL-VW70 and it is a perfect example of how Sony runs.Basically, what they do, is throw every single statistic they can at a product to make it the best, and then they decide on a price. That would make their top of the line projector the best. Now, these things are pretty expensive, MSRP is $8000 USD but there is absolutely nothing that compares to this things statistics. Even at $8000, you would be hard pressed to find a television that has the same statistics that can display almost this size. Anyways, if you are someone looking for the ultimate in home theater projection, and you will settle for nothing less, you don’t need to look any further, you have just found the Mercedes-Benz S-Class of theater projectors.
