It’s still pretty cool. You’re looking at theĀ Samsung MBP200 and this little device officially ushers in the age of mini projectors. That’s right, it is exactly what you think it is. Samsung has developed one of the smallest projectors in history and put it in a tight little case with 4GB of memory to play off of. It’s got a tiny little QVGA LCD inside it that generates a 320×240 picture. Once projected on to a screen, it can create a 79cmx53cm picture from 150cm away. It does play movies, but also recognizes Microsoft Office files and other multimedia. This thing would be absolutely perfect for impressing clients with a homebrew slideshow. It has even got a slot for an SD card so you can hold up to 16GB of information on this little projector. They’re really quite affordable too, no more than a cell phone, and the possibilities are really limitless. I think that sometime in the near future, once parts get smaller and cheaper, tiny projectors not unlike this one are going to be making appearances in our cell phones. It could be the new camera phone, but like, reversed. If you could find yourself benefitting from the Samsung MBP200
(and I bet your minds are just going nuts with cool ideas) then you can go pick one up.
