    • Just like the title says, I take a first look at the Optoma HD20.  It boasts 1,700 lumens through a 1080p DLP chip producing a 4,000:1 contrast ratio.  The bulb is said to last between three and four thousand hours before it will need to be changed which should save you some serious coin on lamps.

      Just like the title says, I take a first look at the Optoma HD20. It boasts 1,700 lumens through a 1080p DLP chip producing a 4,000:1 contrast ratio.     • The title says basically exactly what is going on but you have to see it in action to get the full effect. This post is for everybody who doesn't believe that contrast ratios and picture quality are greatly improved between the low and high end models.     • Runco has just announce the release of a new series of entry level projectors.  Hoping entry level to Runco was no different than entry level to InFocus, I got my hopes up pretty high.  As it turns out, the new models are designed to supply quality HD with incredible value.  The three new projectors for the new line are names the LS-3, LS-5 and LS-7 working like BMW and getting better with higher numbers. All three projectors feature basically the same enclosures so I'm only gonna throw up pictures of the LS-7.
